What is a Medical Alert System?
A medical alert system is also known as a personal emergency response system (PERS). It is a live two-way voice hands-free communication system that functions similarly to a speakerphone. It consists of a base unit and a remote (usually worn by an individual in the form of a pendant, necklace, bracelet or belt clip). The base unit and remote have a help or panic button to be used for personal medical emergencies. Pushing the help button signals to the Response Centre that emergency medical help is needed immediately.

For Peace of Mind & Independent Living
Falls are a serious concern for an ageing population and can lead to devastating consequences. A simple fall can prevent you from continuing with your activities of daily living. Falls can also contribute to poor health and make independent living difficult. It is very important to take preventative measures and to make sure you have access to emergency medical help if a fall should occur.
If you or someone you know is prone to falling, we highly recommend our Home Fall Detection System or our Mobile System with GPS & Fall Detection for safety and peace of mind.
